Haig House

While an anonymous contributor is philosophic about life in Haig:
"Everything that happens to you happens for the best." (Adela Saraceni). Mr I.aing docs not agree after recently receiving gallons of mucky water through the Haig Office ceiling.

Robert Cooper (IV) goes his own way:
'I'd rather be dead than cool." (Olympus Design)

And Craig Heselton (VI) has obviously experienced a classic Enid BIyton dormitory pillow fight:
"And the hits just keep on coming." (Tom Cruse)

But Dean Paterson (V) knows how to stand up for himself:
"It's not the size of a dog in a fight that counts, it's the fight in a dog that matters." (Unknown)

David McDougall (V) bites the bullet and gets on with boarding school life:
"When adverse" circumstances ultimately predominate, we must necessarily succumb to the inevitable.'

Chris Soper (IV), however, is making the most of things:
"Some mistakes are too much fun to make only once."

While Callum Henderson's (IV) laid-back approach Is evident:
"There is no pleasure in having nothing to do; the fun is in having lots to do and not doing it." (Mary Wilson little)

As is Richard O'DonnelI's (VI):
"I am contemplating thinking about thinking." (Robbie Williams)

Elliot Wood (IV) is one of the more hardworking members of Haig House:
"If you really want something in this life, you have to work for it. Now, quiet! They're about to announce the lottery numbers...."
(Homer Simpson)

All Liam Flynn (VI) needs is the leathers and the motorbike:
"Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today." (James Dean)

Graeme Houston (VI) gives us a few home truths:
"I think I've changed a lot over the past year, but I've got a hell of a lot more changing to do before I'm finished."

And finally, Murray McLeod (VI) is about to be released into the real world:
"Someday I must give up this mad, carefree existence." (Snoopy)

Being the Haig Housemaster entails tremendous responsibility and Mr laing sums up the stresses and strains (with help from Bill Shankly):
"The 5-aside football league is not a matter of life or death - it's more important than that."

As someone once said:
"All's well that ends well."

Mr Laing
