THE WORLD Is it day when it's night? Is it dark when it's light?
Is it bed-time when it's morning? Is there snoring when there's yawning?
Is it sunny when it's snowing? Are plants dying when they're growing?
Yes - On the other side of the world!! G. Bowden, P7B.
THE COMPLAINT I feel there should be a complaint box so people can put in their complaints. Also there should be a typewriter so no one will know who wrote the complaint. Then the School can employ someone to explore the possibilities of the complaint. Also this would give someone else a job. But I suppose this is a stupid thing to complain about anyway, as there is no complaint box to put my complaint in! G. Bowden, P7B.
DREAMWORLD You can go to places in a dream, Where no one else has ever been. You can go to places once forgot, Some may be cold, others hot.
Things that happen in a dream, Are things that you may not have seen. You'll travel to places you'll never see, Places which will make you very happy.
You may go to space in a rocket ship, Or draw a six-shot from your hip, You may do some things that you would never do, Shoot somebody! I don't know who.
But I hope you have not got the wrong idea, So listen to me loud and clear. Things that happen in a dream Are things that are not quite what they seem. Graeme Kidd, P7B.

CCF Section
Contingent Commander: Wg Cdr 1. T. Williams OC RN Section: Lieut. CmdrW. G. Webster, RNR OCArmy Section: Capt. J. G. Finlay OC RAF Section: FIt/Lt M. J. Boast Adjutant: Capt. J. Deeley OC Signals Section: Capt. G. M. Watson 2i/c RN Section: Rev. E. G. Milton, RNR SSI/QM: MrR. Brown Supernumery to Estab.: Major J. D. Hankinson
We welcome the Rev. Eric Milton, the School Chaplain, to the Staff of the CCF. Mr Milton's wide experience with the Royal Navy is already proving an asset to the RN Section and has enabled it to increase its establishment strength of cadets after only one year following its formation in September 1981. Mr M. J. Boast, who assumed command of the RAF Section in 1981, is to be congratulated on his promotion to Flight Lieutenant. Congratulations also to Mr G. M. Watson who, after nine years service, qualified for promotion to Captain.
The Army and RAF Recruits' Cups for 1981-82 were awarded to Cadets David Beveridge and Colin Stewart respectively. With the introduction of the RN Section the new RN Cup was appropriately awarded to its first Coxswain, Colin Geddie.
The Biennial Inspection of the Contingent was held in October 1982 with Vice-Admiral R. R. Squires, Flag Officer Scotland and N. Ireland, as the Inspecting Officer.
The valuable assistance given to us by the three services as well as by our own School Staff is much appreciated. A particular word of thanks, however, to Sqn Ldr David Conran Smith, Area Commander, RAF Careers Information Service, who has visited us regularly, kept us well informed and written innumerable letters of encouragement to our prospective "airmen" - he leaves us and the RAF at the end of the session and we wish him every success and good fortune as he pursues his academic studies in preparation for his chosen new career. I.T.W.
RN SECTION The arrival of Rev. E. Milton at the School has given the Section a chance to enlarge its intake. Currently there are 35 cadets in two watches. In September 1982 Leading Seamen Geddie and Kenyon represented our Section in the RN (CCF) Regatta at Chatham and did very well. The October Field Day was held at HMS Cochrane, and spent sailing and pulling. In the Spring
