Best Stylist—?. Doyle. Results of Inter-Dormitory Boxing Championship 1. Lynedoch |
2. Moore. 3. Abercromby.
This proved to be a really enjoyable and en- thralling event. The credit for this must go to Mr.' Martin whose enthusiasm and skill brought out the best from the boys. Frequently the judges had hard choices to make and many 'good loser' points were awarded. No matter what their weight, shape, or size, all seemed equally determined. Some fought for the glory of their Dorm; some for the fun of it; others because, at last, they had a legal opportunity to pulverise their opponents. The lightweights, such as Fisher and Smith, slugged it out no less forcefully than those big bruisers, I. Collie and Lang. It was a splendid sight to see the most mild-mannered and good-natured boys transform themselves into ruthless and unyielding combatants.
