Boxing
The Individual and Inter-House Championships were held throughout the Christmas term. The boxing was good and many of the old faults were eliminated. Credit for this must go to Mr Stewart and Mr Martin, who coached the boys on Wednesday and Saturday evenings. The All - India Trophy for the best style was won by D. Mclnnes who, although from the Junior House, gave an exhibition of stylish boxing which many of the boys in the Senior House would do well to copy. The Best Loser's Cup was awarded to J. McKillop, who lost to A. Quinn. Although out-punched by a stronger and more aggressive boxer, he boxed cleanly and accurately right up to the final bell. Prizes were presented by Mrs Nason.
