The School Individual and Inter - House Championships were held on the sports field on Saturday, 9th June. The weather which up to the Saturday had been
variable certainly favoured the meeting. Conditions were perfect and results good. A new system of grouping the boys was used. Groups were made up on the physical age as opposed to chronological age and this made closer contests and keener competition. Outstanding 'performances were by Mon. J. Wilson—high jump 5ft. 6iins., putting the shot 45ft. 4ins. and throwing the discus 132 ft. R. Anderson threw the javelin 136 ft. 7 ins., and R. Chessar (age 14) had a high jump of 5ft. O^in. Mrs Nason presented the prizes. Results as follows:—

Invitation Relay Baton
The Invitation "Relay Baton" athletic meeting was held on the School sports field on Wednesday, 20th June, at 5.30 p.m.
Many of the boys competing from Strathallan Boys' School, Queen Victoria School, Dunfermline High School, Stirling High School, and Riverside Junior Secondary School had competed at the Scottish Schools' meeting, so quite a high standard was expected and a good many of the results show that the standard was good.
Morrison's Academy did not compete in the athletic meeting but sent a relay team to try and win the Relay Baton for the sixth time. Dunfermline High School, however, ran very strongly to win the Baton for the first time.
Mrs Stewart presented the Relay -Baton.
